Low-Forward Centre of Gravity

The explosive distance of the TaylorMade SLDR S Driver is rooted in its low and forward CG location. Long distance comes from combining fast ball speed, high launch angle and low spin rate. Moving the CG forward promotes more ball speed and less spin. From there, to launch the ball on a high enough angle to maximise distance, golfers will benefit from increasing loft by two or three degrees, or even more!

SLDR Movable Weight Technology

The TaylorMade SLDR S Driver represents a complete reinvention of movable weight, making it more effective and easier to use. The weight shifts the centre of gravity horizontally towards either the toe, to promote a fade, or to the heel, to promote a draw. The SLDR weight slides on the track and never comes loose from the clubhead and can be placed in any of the 21 different positions. The sole is marked with the words "fade" and "draw" to make it clear where you need to position the weight to get the desired shot shape you desire. SLDR’s weighting system allows you to promote a side-to-side trajectory change of up to 30 yards.

TaylorMade SLDR S Driver Design

Aesthetically, the TaylorMade SLDR S Driver features the same beautiful, modern classic 460cc shape as the original SLDR Driver. The new satin-silver crown colour with black button back makes it one of the most visually appealing drivers TaylorMade have ever made.
