The Mizuno JPX 925 Hot Metal Pro irons deliver maximum speed, in a slimmer profile. A younger brother to the Hot Metal, sharing the same stock lofts in a shorter blade length, with a more compact head and thinner top line.
The irons have a multi-material construction with Nickel Tungsten weighting positioned low in the 4-7 irons to create a higher launch and a lower sweet spot. Ideal for any club being hit off turf, resulting in steeper land angles for more greens held.
A re-engineered multi-thickness face as thin as 1.2mm (12 sheets of paper), a 30% improvement on the previous JPX923. An ellipse shape angled from high toe to low heel to best cater to common mishit patterns, which allows for maximum speed retention even on mishits.
One-piece cup face geometry allows for thinned areas revolving 360 degrees around the perimeter, for increased CORAREA for maximum ball speed across the face.
The Variable Sole Thickness allows the face to flex efficiently to increase CORAREA. Complete with Nickel Tungsten weighting deliberately placed so as not to inhibit face flex.
A balanced weighting improves control whilst maintaining forgiveness, producing a tour-preferred vibration and sound.
Complete with Acoustic Sound Ribs across the top edge to make the top line rigid and improve feel. And a sound bar (visible on the back of the club) attenuates sound pressure and removes tinny/clicky frequencies.
