Callaway Golf unveils next generation Great Big Bertha Driver

Callaway Golf has lifted the curtain on what it claims is the most forgiving and distance-enhancing driver ever created – the Great Big Bertha.

Fans of the Big Bertha series will be rubbing their hands together in anticipation for this driver to land, while those who are new to either Callaway or the Bertha ranges should definitely take time to check this over before choosing their next driver.

The Great Big Bertha works to increase golf ball speed and refine shot-shaping capabilities – along with offering maximum forgiveness and distance for every player.

One feature sure to excite the die-hards is Callaway’s R*MOTO Technology. The Great Big Bertha utilises a thinner face to produce higher ball speeds on both centre and off-centre hits, and the driver’s Adjustable Perimeter Weighting increases stability at the same time as offering a near unlimited number of draw and fade fitting options.

The Great Big Bertha equals maximum dispersion control and forgiveness to help keep every players’ shots straighter and longer.

But all the above technology does not mean Callaway has been forced to take anything away from this driver. In fact, it’s all still here – most notably Callaway’s Optifit Hosel, which allows for 8 different configurations to tune loft, lie and face angle.
