The clubs used by Justin Rose to shoot his best score at a major

Powered by National Club Golfer

His round included seven birdies with no dropped shots including a birdie-birdie finish on two of the toughest closing holes in championship golf.

Rose uses the TaylorMade M3 driver and M4 fairway woods with a couple of P790 long irons providing maximum versatility off the tee.

We first saw the Rose Proto irons in the bag last year which are a slightly modified version of the new P730 range. The Rose Proto were created with input from the player himself.

He uses the bladed Rose Proto from 4-9 iron with a P790 2 and 3-iron for a bit more power and forgiveness.

One of the key factors behind Rose’s blistering form is his efficiency on the greens. For a while there has been a merry-go-round when it comes to his choice of putter, using several flat sticks from the TaylorMade TP Red Collection. But for now he seems settled on the Ardmore 2

His wedges are the TaylorMade Milled Grind with a Hi-Toe lob wedge and he plays the TaylorMade TP5 ball.
