  Which flex you use will depends on the type of swing you have. Beginners and those with less powerful swings tend to use a shaft with greater flexibility to create more clubhead speed. However, if a player has a high swing speed, they will require a stiffer shaft with less flex.

  Getting the correct shaft length benefits you in several ways. We are all different in height and our wrist to floor measurements. Having the wrong length shafts can hinder your address position, stop the clubhead sitting correctly at address & impact and cause lack of accuracy and consistency.

  Lie angle is a factor that affects the accuracy of golf shots. Golfers who use clubs whose lie angles don't fit their body types and/or golf swings are costing themselves strokes. Too upright and the heel strikes the turf first closing the clubface, while too flat and the toe makes contact first opening the clubface.

  An “off the shelf” club has a standard lie angle and you can usually choose between ½° or 1° increments upright or flat to custom fit the club to you.
