    Shaft length tooltip

Getting the correct shaft length benefits you in several ways. We are all different in height and our wrist to floor measurements. Having the wrong length shafts can hinder your address position, stop the clubhead sitting correctly at address & impact and cause lack of accuracy and consistency.

    Grip thickness tooltip

Choosing the correct thickness can vastly improve your ball striking and accuracy. If the grip is too thin your hands will over-rotate resulting in a pull or draw. If the grip is too thick it limits movement of the wrists, leading to a push or fade.

Overview
The new G425 irons are equipped with a Variable Face Thickness design like a metalwood. This improves ball speed performance and launches shots further and higher than ever before.

The G425 Irons Feature:

  • Hyper 17-4 Stainless Steel Body / Hydropearl Chrome Finish
  • Variable Face Thickness (VFT)
  • Tungsten Weighting / 3-Piece Badge
  • 1-Year Guarantee

Hyper 17-4 Stainless Steel Body

To produce Hyper 17-4 Stainless Steel the metal goes through a heat-treating process to increases material strength. This increase the steel strength by 40% to create a much thinner clubface, which allows flexing to add extra yards and carry distance and improved launch.

Variable Face Thickness (VFT)

The iron employs VFT which is commonly found in a metal-wood design. This greatly increases flexing for measurable ball speed gains that launch shots higher and further with the stopping power to hold greens.

Tungsten Weighting

The G425 irons have a shorter blade length compared to the previous G410 model, with added Tungsten weights in the toe and sole. It boasts a 3% higher MOI due to mass savings from the new face geometry and expands the perimeter weighting and greatly tightens dispersion. Setting new standards for forgiveness in a more compact iron design.

Multi-Material Cavity Badge / Hydropearl Chrome Finish

This 3-piece badge (aluminium, ABS material, damping tape) is placed into the rear cavity to dampen undesirable sound frequencies. This improves the sound acoustics and provides a more satisfying feel at impact.

This premium Hydropearl Chrome Finish not only looks great it also improves performance. The finish is water-repellent and offers less resistance in rough or wet conditions, for improved launch and spin.

Features

Perimeter Weighting

A tungsten toe screw and hosel weight expand the perimeter weighting to create a new standard in forgiveness for an iron its size. The resilient hydropearl chrome finish repels moisture to improve performance from wet conditions.

Speed-Generating Face

A variable-thickness, Hyper 17-4 stainless steel face in the metal-wood-style design delivers our fastest ball speed ever in the G-Series for generating higher, longer results with stopping power.

Stopping Power

A patented cascading sole and top-rail undercut combine to perform like a hinge, flexing to launch the ball faster and higher with green-holding precision consistently and predictably.

Streamlined Look

Its blade length is shorter than the G410 iron but the head has a higher MOI, and the clean, compact design presents an eye-pleasing address view that inspires confidence.

Multi-Material Badge

Extensive finite element analysis was used to develop a three-piece, multi-material cavity badge that covers more of the face to damp undesirable frequencies for superb feel and sound.
